Product safety

Safety information that applies across our catalogue, and how to tell us if something is wrong.

Draft. This page is incomplete and is not yet a published policy. Sections marked below require information we do not have yet.

General heat guidance

Personal cooling products help you feel more comfortable in heat. They are not a substitute for shade, rest, fluid intake or medical advice, and they do not prevent heat illness.

If you or someone else shows signs of heat exhaustion or heatstroke — confusion, stopping sweating, a rapid pulse, fainting — seek medical help immediately and follow local public health guidance.

Lithium battery safety

Charge only with the supplied cable and a certified power source. Do not charge unattended on a flammable surface. Do not expose batteries to temperatures above 45°C / 113°F, direct flame, or prolonged direct sun while charging.

Stop using any product whose battery swells, becomes hot to the touch, or emits an odour, and dispose of it at a designated battery recycling point. Never place lithium batteries in household waste.

Gel and phase-change packs

Always use the fabric sleeve between a frozen pack and bare skin — direct contact can cause a cold burn. Discard any pack whose seal is damaged. Contents are not for consumption.

Reporting a safety concern or a recall

Information pending

A monitored product safety contact address and our recall procedure will be published here before we take live orders. This is a legal requirement in our launch markets and is being handled as part of launch readiness.
